A Christmas Poem

A New Dawn
Has Christ really been born?
In me? In you?

What will the new child look like?
What will he bring?
What will he ask?

I welcome the new life.
The new love, the new gifts,
The new Ways.

Help me, O God, to grow, to learn,
To let go of fear.
To know you in the new life!

An Epiphany Poem

A New Beginning
What next?
I honor the King Within.

To honor…
The cries, the yearnings, the longings…
That call me to move

To greater life, exploration, adventure, growth.
To take the steps as they’re shown
One by one.

To offer the gift of my presence
I follow and tend the new life within.
I listen; Where to next?
